HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS
Destiny World Outreach and it's members live a life of giving to others less fortunate then themselves. We are blessed to participate in many diverse humanitarian efforts that span the globe. The following organizations are indicative of those we partner with on a daily basis. We encourage each of our members and organizations to give back in some way, both locally and internationally.
Each of the following organizations has earned our participation with their willingness and drive towards meeting the needs of their client groups. If you are looking to participate with a group, or wish to share with the resources that have been trusted to you, we recommend these groups to you.
BE A HERO -
Be A HERO creates heroes out of ordinary people by providing them with opportunities to change the world, one child at a time. Be A HERO opens the eyes of people everywhere to the wholesale destruction of children, and enlists everyone to the mission of mercy and social justice – caring for children suffering as a result of poverty, child labour, slavery, homelessness, sexual exploitation, aids and plagues, and war.
CONVOY OF HOPE -
Convoy of Hope mobilizes, resources, and trains churches and other groups to conduct community outreaches, respond to disasters, and direct other compassion initiatives in the United States and around the world.
DAILY BREAD -
Daily Bread Ministries is operated by dedicated staff and volunteers that run daily routes to collect surplus goods from food suppliers and catering companies throughout San Antonio. The collected goods are then brought to the central warehouse at 700 W. Houston street. Typically the food is redistributed to non-profit organizations and ministries within 48 hours. We are supported through the prayers and financial donations of businesses, individuals, churches and grants.
THE RDC -
A nonprofit charity that's primary goal is to provide quality nutritious food to all who ask. The main food bank, offices, and warehouses are centrally located in Tacoma Washington. We also provide mobile food pantry stops at multiple locations.
